Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage two exciting Student Accommodation projects in Bristol and Bath, with project values of £7.5 million and £4 million, respectively. This is a unique opportunity to work on a scheme with new to the region contract specialists, starting in February and forecasted to complete by December.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of cost control for both projects.
• Work closely with the Commercial Manager and report directly to them.
• Collaborate with the Project Director overseeing both schemes to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Oversee the procurement process, contract management, and cost reporting.
• Ensure project profitability through effective cost management and value engineering.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with experience in student accommodation or similar large-scale high rise residential projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in cost control and management, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
