Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Take charge of a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery at a high commercial and quality standard.
  • Collaborate across various disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, supporting overall business growth.
  • Represent the company as a client-facing leader, promoting growth by cross-selling our services and locations.
  • Contribute to a positive company culture by mentoring and developing colleagues, fostering strong teamwork.
  • Provide specialist advice to clients and stakeholders, continually enhancing your own technical, commercial, and legal knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A solid track record of managing and leading projects in the highways, rail, energy, and utility sectors.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered status with RICS or a recognized equivalent body.
  • Extensive experience with construction contracts such as NEC, FIDIC, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Prism or similar reporting systems.
  • A deep understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • An ability to inspire and motivate teams to successfully deliver projects and help develop future talent.
