Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS)
Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting into Commercial Manager. You will be overseeing a Project Quantity Surveyor and Apprentice Quantity Surveyor
Day Rate: 450 - 600 per day dependent on experience - Outside IR35 LTD company
Location: Bristol
Project: 70m new factory construction - starting on site end of October.
Company: Niche civil engineering contractor who specialise in demolition, piling, fire protection, groundworks, concrete frame and earthworks. They're well known in the industry and have a great reputation for offering long term contracts with progression internally.
Duties:
- Undertake pre-contract setup, including forecasting, measurement, sub-contract tendering and procurement
- Manage the commercial aspects of various projects, including valuations / applications, budget monitoring, material / plant reconciliation and contract variations / compensation events and change
- Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- Responsible for producing and maintaining project forecasts
- Maximise cashflow through the control and valuation of works, invoicing and payment process
- Establishing and maintaining client relationships
MUST HAVE: Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience within civil engineering. Must have self delivery experience
