Working Hours: 5 nights per week, 2 AM - 10 AM, minimum 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise & Lead: Oversee warehouse activities, ensuring smooth operations and a safe working environment.
  • Facilitate Between Operatives and Managers: Act as a liaison to ensure smooth communication and effective collaboration.
  • Train & Develop: Provide training and support to team members.
  • Admin & Tracking: Manage attendance, track overtime, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Incident Management & Improvement: Investigate incidents, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
  • Achieve KPI Targets: Meet company scorecard objectives, driving productivity and efficiency.
  • Audit & Documentation: Ensure all records are accurate and ready for internal and external audits.
  • Communicate & Improve: Facilitate team huddles and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain Standards: Ensure high standards of housekeeping and compliance with safety procedures.

Experience & Skills:

  • Warehouse Flexibility: Demonstrable flexibility to undertake a variety of duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Target-Oriented: Tenacious and effective in meeting and exceeding targets, delivering an outstanding client experience.
  • Communication:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptability: Positive and effective when working with ambiguity and changing commercial drivers.
  • Efficiency & Accuracy: Able to work at pace while maintaining a high-quality output.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organized with a well-developed approach to prioritization.
  • Training Capability: Ability to train operators consistently, review their progress, and provide constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years driving experience
  • Experience in van driving
  • FLT (Forklift Truck) license is advantageous
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and security standards.
