Lettings Manager Company Overview:Clearview Recruitment are excited to be working with our client, an award-winning independent lettings agency based in Bristol (BS6). Established in 2012, they have built a strong reputation for exceptional personal service and currently manage a portfolio of over 600 properties. Known for their friendly and client-focused approach, they are now looking for an experienced Lettings Manager to join their dynamic and growing team.

Lettings Manager Role Overview:As the Lettings Manager, you will join the Senior Management team, leading an operational team of Property Managers and administrators. You’ll also manage a small personal portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for tenants, landlords, and contractors. This is an opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced environment where your management skills and lettings expertise will directly contribute to the company’s ongoing success.

Lettings Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the general administration of the lettings department
  • Manage, motivate, and inspire the lettings team to achieve targets and maintain high standards
  • Ensure all service level agreements are met
  • Identify training needs within the team and deliver tailored training sessions
  • Manage the move-in pipeline effectively
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with all legal documentation, including gas safety certificates and EPCs
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients
  • Conduct check-ins, check-outs, and quarterly property inspections
  • Oversee maintenance work, liaising with tenants, landlords, and contractors to ensure quality and value
  • Advertise properties, including creating virtual tours and writing engaging copy
  • Handle end-of-tenancy inspections and arrange deposit returns

Lettings Manager Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Lettings
  • Proven track record in team management and achieving growth
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Comprehensive knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in conducting inspections, property maintenance coordination, and admin processes
  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential

Lettings Manager Package and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)

  • Monday to Friday working hours (9:00 am - 5:30 pm, 5:00 pm finish on Fridays). No weekend work
