To support the Commercial Department as a Commercial Administrator by managing increased capacity, organising orders, setting up projects, processing measured works, and providing administrative cover when required.
Main Duties:
- Act as a Commercial Administrator by collating and setting up new orders for the Commercial Department
- Prepare survey packs for site measures, calculating approximate material quantities
- Coordinate survey requests and returns, managing workflow for the Commercial Administrator team
- Collect site measures and produce job packs detailing installation areas and material schedules for ordering (by others)
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks in support of the Commercial Administrator role
- Check daily voice messages for the commercial team and ensure delivery of messages as needed
- Provide holiday cover and additional support within the Commercial Administrator team as required
- Complete any additional tasks as requested by the Commercial Director
Role Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills to manage and prioritise tasks
- A commercial approach to problem-solving
- Proficient in IT (especially Excel; Callidus experience preferred)
- Previous experience in contract and domestic flooring is desirable
- A full, clean UK driving licence is preferred
