Managing a portfolio of serviced accommodation (also known as furnished holiday lets or short term lets), you'll be responsible for the end to end process of our Serviced Accommodation. You will need to maintain high standards of customer service at all times, ensuring that the properties we let are prepared and maintained to the highest standards and safe for our customers.
You will also need to keep our owners and landlords up to date with any maintenance requirements and keep in touch with them via reporting, property performance updates and messages as needed.

What will I have to do?

  • Ensure adherence to the Cliftonvalley lettable standards. Coordinate cleans for all properties and ensure that linen is available.
  • Advertising new accommodation with Online Travel Agents (OTAs) and updating any changes on current properties.
  • Being the face of Cliftonvalley and the first port of call for all customer enquiries, these will be via OTA messages, Emails and Phone Calls
  • Managing all guest compliance and screening (People), ID checks, Rental agreements, ensuring all guests are complying with our guest standards and rules for each property and dealing with any non-compliance as it arises.
  • Managing all compliance (property) organising Safety checks in line with government's guidelines and keeping our inhouse systems up to date.
  • Playing an active role in the commercial viability of Cliftonvalley, collecting and adjusting nightly rates for properties
  • Carrying out Quality Assurance on our Virtual Assistants processes and outputs.
  • Ensuring that Property guides are kept up to date and new property guides created.
  • You will be responsible for the training and Quality Assurance of the virtual assistants and junior staff.
  • Adhere to Cliftonvalley's Customer Service Standard.
  • Continually monitor any training needs and ensure competency in the property manager role.
  • Leading on the marketing of new and existing properties.
  • Continually review existing property portfolio to ensure consistency and high levels of demand for bookings.
  • On-call cover over one weekend in three, to deal with customer enquiries and emergency calls and messages.

What do I need to do to be successful?

  • Be organised and responsive, with the ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Able to influence people through clear, concise communication skills in both verbal and written format.
  • Evidence experience of managing properties.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a range of services with competing priorities
  • Demonstrate an understanding of quality assurance frameworks and an ability to ensure compliance
  • Have excellent organisational skills, and a methodical approach to work.
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain information systems and keep accurate records.
  • Evidence ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate excellent IT skills with up to date knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Evidence ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to transport
  • Be committed to working collaboratively in project groups and teams both internally and externally.
  • Have experience of putting in place new working practices, systems or procedures.
