Are you an experienced real estate solicitor with a passion for the energy sector? Our client, a Top100 leading law firm, is seeking a talented individual to join their market-leading Real Estate Department in Bristol.

As an energy real estate lawyer, you will join a UK-wide, award-winning Real Estate team that has been consistently ranked in the top tier by both Chambers and Legal 500. Their Real Estate Energy team has an impressive track record of handling over 1,000 deals in various clean technologies such as onshore wind, offshore wind, biomass, wave, tidal, hydro, solar, energy storage, anaerobic digestion, and energy from waste. The team also advises clients on implementing Net Zero solutions for commercial and industrial buildings, housing-led regeneration schemes, and transport infrastructure.

Working closely with experts from various areas within the organisation, including commercial, construction, planning, environmental, regulatory, and disputes, you will tailor advice to meet each client's needs. Collaboration is key in our client's organisation, and you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to complex energy projects from all angles.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Relevant experience working on clean energy-based property transactions,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and with clients,
  • The ability to manage a complex workload and a self-motivated and eager-to-learn attitude.
  • You must be a registered lawyer with the SRA or Law Society of Scotland.
