Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist
Location: Bristol, BS1 6FL
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Part-Time (16 hours per week, possibility to go up to 24 hours), Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Temporary with potential to become permanent
Pay: £14-16 per hour depending on experience
Our client, a global engineering, management, and development consultancy, is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to join their team. Their purpose is to improve society through excellence and digital innovation, focusing on social outcomes and transforming businesses, communities, and employee opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front-of-house reception
- Handle switchboard calls, post, and general inquiries
- Greet visitors and issue security passes
- Communicate office inductions and emergency arrangements
- Ensure facilities are in good working order and monitor cleaning standards
- Coordinate meeting room resources
- Report maintenance and cleaning issues to the Facilities Helpdesk
- Act as the first aider and emergency warden for the office
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front-of-house role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Health & Safety within an office environment
