Head of Finance - Not-for-Profit | Bristol | Interim or Temp-to-Perm

How You'll Make an Impact

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring the organisation remains financially robust and well-positioned for the future. This is a hands-on role with a strategic outlook, balancing financial management with commercial thinking.

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure long-term stability.
  • Oversee cash flow, treasury management, and financial controls.
  • Provide financial insight to support decision-making at senior leadership level.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external relationships, including auditors, funders, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop financial reporting and analytics to improve transparency and efficiency.
  • Support tendering processes and contract management to ensure financial viability.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to optimise cost structures and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, including automation and system enhancements.

  • IT/ERP systems experience (e.g., Dynamics 365) is an advantage.
