Tate are working with a leading asbestos and water hygiene company in their search for a Business Development Assistant.

Your role would be to identify, develop and secure new and existing business opportunities. As a Business Development Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the growth of the business by identifying new clients and new opportunities with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new clients and new opportunities with existing clients
  • Adding organisations and individuals to CRM systems
  • Categorising people/organisations on CRM systems
  • Establishing processes to follow-up leads
  • Running reports on CRM systems
  • Running campaigns on CRM systems and manage these campaigns
  • Analysing the success of specific campaigns and feedback to senior management

Skills / experience:

  • Knowledge/experience of CRM systems (ideally Workbooks)
  • Confident in prospecting for new potential clients using all resources available
  • Extensive experience successfully engaging with people in a professional capacity on social media.
  • Confident and experienced engaging with prospects on the phone particularly during cold call situations
  • Able to liaise with other members of the team to strategically plan new campaigns
  • Confident using all Microsoft systems, especially Excel
  • Able to analyse data and learn from/adapt techniques depending on the trends shown
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills - both written and verbal
  • Target driven
