Tate are working with a leading asbestos and water hygiene company in their search for a Business Development Assistant.
Your role would be to identify, develop and secure new and existing business opportunities. As a Business Development Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the growth of the business by identifying new clients and new opportunities with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying new clients and new opportunities with existing clients
- Adding organisations and individuals to CRM systems
- Categorising people/organisations on CRM systems
- Establishing processes to follow-up leads
- Running reports on CRM systems
- Running campaigns on CRM systems and manage these campaigns
- Analysing the success of specific campaigns and feedback to senior management
Skills / experience:
- Knowledge/experience of CRM systems (ideally Workbooks)
- Confident in prospecting for new potential clients using all resources available
- Extensive experience successfully engaging with people in a professional capacity on social media.
- Confident and experienced engaging with prospects on the phone particularly during cold call situations
- Able to liaise with other members of the team to strategically plan new campaigns
- Confident using all Microsoft systems, especially Excel
- Able to analyse data and learn from/adapt techniques depending on the trends shown
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills - both written and verbal
- Target driven
