Our Bristol office is at the heart of our operations, and we are currently expanding our team to include two skilled Business Development Managers who shares our passion and vision.

Our transformative Technology Improvement Programme is fusing technological innovation with our recruitment acumen and STEM sector expertise, ultimately enhancing the experience for both our clients and candidates. You will have access to data intelligence, industry-leading resources and our extensive customer network to make smart approaches to business development.

Main Purpose of the Job. To drive growth with our clients in order to optimise the Lifetime value opportunities whilst delivering a best in class customer and candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Strategically identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the STEM sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, understanding their needs to offer solutions that add value.
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Consultants to ensure a seamless recruitment lifecycle, from initial client engagement through to candidate placement.
  • Utilise market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall success and growth of the Bristol office.

What We're Looking For.

  • A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Business Development within the STEM sectors.
  • Some exposure to the agency recruitment lifecycle, demonstrating an understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and trends to inform business strategy.
  • A collaborative team player, capable of working effectively within a dynamic team environment.
