Due to ongoing expansion, one of YT Technologies most prestigious engineering clients is looking for a Business Development Manager / Executive to join their Sales function.
Your role will involve:
- Identify and secure new clients across diverse sectors and geographical regions, driving growth and market penetration.
- Engage daily with the sales team and engineering department, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Focus on expanding both Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sales and sales through distributors, ensuring a balanced and robust sales strategy.
- Deliver ambitious sales growth targets in the short, medium, and long term, contributing significantly to the company's overall success.
- Use industry experience and data to provide sales-led insights into the technology roadmap. Ensure the development of products that maximise profitability and meet market demands.
Essential Requirements
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
- Ability to create and implement a strategic business plan for assigned areas or market segments, in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Mechanical Design Background ( Degree / Relevant industry Experience)
- Demonstrated success in identifying potential customers and executing a sales plan to acquire those prospects.
- Experience in leading sales efforts, with the ability to involve the right team members at the right time to maximise outcomes.
- Proven record of closing complex deals, demonstrating strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Technologically literate with the ability to quickly learn and understand our advanced valve technology.
