Vecta Search is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation, taking ownership of driving new business growth within a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a targeted strategy to identify and secure new business in line with annual sales targets.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the companys products and services to effectively present tailored solutions to prospective clients.
  • Qualify leads, develop opportunities, and close business through consultative engagement.
  • Provide accurate weekly/monthly revenue forecasts and produce end-of-month reports on market performance.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer journey throughout the sales process.
  • Keep CRM systems fully updated and ensure adherence to sales procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with the marketing team to align strategies and support sector-specific growth.
  • Partner with the tele-appointment team to enhance demand generation and secure meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing sales role with a strong track record of meeting new business targets.
  • Demonstrable success in managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch and negotiate.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly developed influencing and relationship management skills, both internally and externally.

Desirable:

  • Experience within sectors such as Energy, Environment, Health & Safety, or GRC.
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
