Due to ongoing expansion, one of YT Technologies most prestigious engineering clients is looking for a Business Development Manager / Executive to join their Sales function.

Your role will involve:
  • Identify and secure new clients across diverse sectors and geographical regions, driving growth and market penetration.
  • Engage daily with the sales team and engineering department, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. 
  • Focus on expanding both Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sales and sales through distributors, ensuring a balanced and robust sales strategy.
  • Deliver ambitious sales growth targets in the short, medium, and long term, contributing significantly to the company's overall success.
  • Use industry experience and data to provide sales-led insights into the technology roadmap. Ensure the development of products that maximise profitability and meet market demands.
This role is likely to be focused on geography across Europe, with almost 100% brand new business. 

Essential Requirements
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
  • Ability to create and implement a strategic business plan for assigned areas or market segments, in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
  • Mechanical Design Background ( Degree / Relevant industry Experience) 
  • Demonstrated success in identifying potential customers and executing a sales plan to acquire those prospects.
  • Experience in leading sales efforts, with the ability to involve the right team members at the right time to maximise outcomes.
  • Proven record of closing complex deals, demonstrating strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Technologically literate with the ability to quickly learn and understand our advanced valve technology.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-growing company environment
