Yolk Recruitment is supporting this exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join a leading manufacturing and engineering business. If you're a results-driven professional with a passion for customer management, business growth, and value-based selling, this role is perfect for you!
As a Sales Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving profitable sales, expanding market presence, and securing new business. You'll develop and maintain strong client relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored engineering solutions. If you have a technical background in pumps, rotating equipment, or related industries, along with a proven track record of closing deals and exceeding targets, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive profitable sales growth by achieving sales targets, increasing revenue, and improving margins
- Develop strong client relationships, understanding customer needs and providing effective engineering solutions
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by expanding into emerging markets and maximising sales potential
- Develop winning strategies by creating value propositions and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Negotiate contracts to maximise value while minimising risk, ensuring optimal commercial positions
- Analyse market trends, monitor competitor activity, and identify opportunities for business development
- Ensure accurate forecasting by tracking and reporting on sales opportunities to meet business objectives
- Enhance the company's reputation by professionally representing the business and seeking opportunities to add value
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including engineering, production, and marketing, to align sales strategies
