Citadel Source is supporting not-for-profit client based in the West Bristol area in search for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant / Sales Ledger Assistant to join their growing team on a temp-to-perm basis.

The initial engagement for this opportunity is set as a 3-month temporary contract, however for the right individual, there is potential for the position to transition into a permanent role.

About you

You will have a previous sales ledger/ accounts receivable experience, has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. You will possess an ability to work independently, hold excellent communication skills, and have a customer-focused approach.

The Role

As a Finance Assistant / Sales Ledger Assistant you will working alongside the Finance Manager and you will be supporting the finance department in managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate records, and assisting with other finance-related tasks.

As a Finance Assistant / Sales Ledger Assistant, your role will include but not limited to:

  • Maintain and manage the sales ledger, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process payments and handle queries related to invoices.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and financial statements.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding debts to ensure prompt payments.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
