Finance & Administration Assistant
  • Location: Central Bristol (Hybrid - 2-3 days in office)

Reed Accountancy are thrilled to be supporting a successful, Central Bristol based charity in their search for a Finance Assistant.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare financial journals reflecting expenditures.
  • Conduct monthly tasks including banking donations, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
  • Administer credit card and staff expense claims.
  • Set up online foreign currency payments and maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Maintain finance and resources department files/records.
  • Assist Project Finance Managers with information capture processes and updating detailed procedure notes.
  • Support the quarterly budget process and the year-end statutory audit process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a finance department.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
