Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a leading law firm who are on the search for an Entry Level Finance Assistant to join their team.

This role is perfect for someone who is detailed orientated, has a passion for numbers and is looking to get into an accounts role to kickstart their career!

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete reconciliations for bank accounts in multiple currencies.
  • Post bank transactions and journals.
  • Scan and process purchase ledger invoices onto accounting software.
  • Request copy invoices and reconcile statements from associates and suppliers.
  • Manage accounts email inbox and distribute accounts post.
  • Send out sales ledger copy invoices per client requests.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Accounts team.
  • Perform any other duties necessary to meet business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Level 5 or above).
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Ability to manage workload, stay calm during busy times, and help team members.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with various contacts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
