Drama Cover Teacher

Salary: £120-150 day

Hours: Full and part-time

Contract Type: Temporary - Permanent

Location: Bristol

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Drama Cover Teacher to inspire students with engaging, fun and structured lessons. This role involves teaching within an established Drama department to students in KS3/4. Whether you are an experienced Drama Teacher or newly qualified, this position offers a great opportunity for career growth with the opportunity to experience and network with different schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Drama lessons that align with the curriculum
  • Teach Drama to GCSE; teaching students various skills and styles.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their development and projects.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Organise and supervise both art and photography projects and activities.
  • Conduct assessments to track student progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS).
  • Bachelor's degree or professional experience in Drama and Performing Arts.
  • Experience in teaching.
  • Familiarity with GCSE, BTEC Curriculums.
  • Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and lifelong learning.
  • Excellent knowledge of Teacher Standards and innovative teaching practices.
  • Proficiency in using IT.
