English Teacher - Bristol

We are currently looking for a committed English Teacher to join this esteemed institution. This supply role offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work 1-5 days a week, catering to your schedule and preferences.

Pay ranges from £140 - £200 a day based of yours experience and PayScale.

Position Overview:

As an English Teacher in Bristol, you will have the chance to inspire and educate students in the captivating world of English literature and language. Enjoy the freedom to teach with creativity, without the burden of planning and marking responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic and effective English lessons up to GCSE level, instilling a deep appreciation for language and literature.
  • Support students' academic and personal growth.
  • Provide regular assessment and constructive feedback to track progress and guide improvement.
  • Cultivate a passion for literature, language, and creative expression among students.
  • While not mandatory, the ability to teach A-level English would be advantageous, enriching students' educational journey.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and necessary documentation for new DBS checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
  • Provide a CV reflecting the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
