We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our innovative educational setting, which is committed to providing a nurturing and caring environment for each student. Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying academic and personal backgrounds.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to provide a balanced education in Maths, incorporating practical and theoretical elements.
- Contribute to the development of bespoke programmes that leverage studentsā strengths and address their areas for development.
- Participate in and sometimes lead activities outside the classroom, including educational trips that enhance learning and expose students to cultural and historical sites.
- Assess and record studentsā progress, maintaining up-to-date records and providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate therapeutic interventions and pastoral support into the curriculum, enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Maths or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum for alternative secondary provisions.
- Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to suit students with diverse needs and circumstances.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
