Maths Teacher required for Sixth Form College starting asap.

Zen Educate are currently looking for a maths teacher to take full time work starting asap at a sixth form college in the BS4 area of Bristol. This would be contract work with an end date to be confirmed. The work will involve teaching both GCSE and A level and will require both marking and planning for the role.

The ideal teacher will be a maths specialist, although we would be happy to consider a teacher that has enough confidence and experience to take the work on without being a specialist. We are looking for a teacher that is able to differentiate lesson material all students can access the learning.

The school offers a range of BTECs, A levels, and GCSEs to 1700 students on grounds that are meant to emulate a university campus.

Requirements;

- UK QTS with ideally a specialism in Maths

- Able to engage all students in their learning and improve attainment accross the subject

- Marking and planning of differentiated lessons that all students can access, as well as offering any additional support to students that may struggle.

- Strong communication with the rest of the department as well as any support staff for specific students.

- Reliable and consistent approach and able to honour commitments.

- Enhanced DBS on the update service, either one already held, or via one on application.
