Hanson Recruitment is working with a reputable SEN school in Bristol. We are looking for dedicated Maths Teacher/Tutor who share our and school's mission of empowering SEMH pupils to lead lives full of choice and opportunity. They are currently looking to recruit a Maths teacher with passion for SEN and the subject. The role will be full-time and may become permanent after an initial term of successful outcomes for pupils.
Ideal candidate will be someone who has a keen interest in teaching Secondary aged pupils with additional needs and puts emphasis on project based and experiential learning. We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher who has genuine passion for SEN and is flexible and innovative in their approach to teaching, communicating and can be self-reflective. Someone ideally with proven track record of making a difference to pupils and school/s they worked with in terms of the quality of learning and relationships they created. A team player who can think on their feet, but also take guidance and be really on the same journey as the rest of the staff.
Pay Rate: £130 - £200 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This is a full-time role Monday to Friday during school hours.
Qualifications & attributes:
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent
- Excellent Maths Teaching Subject knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for pupils with history of long absence from school
