PE Teacher

PE Teachers required for short and long term work

Zen Educate are looking for PE teachers to take on either short or long term work for secondary schools in Bristol and the wider area. This can either be full or part time depending on your preferences. Working hours are 8:30-3:30 generally and term time only. Ideally we are looking for subject specialists in PE but would certainly help anyone that has taught the subject many times and feels equally confident in it. For shorter term work lessons will be set and require only to be delivered, but longer term posts may include more prep and planning depending on the nature of the work.

We are looking for teachers that are happy to be flexible with the schools needs, so there may be the odd lessons in other subjects that may need someone to cover.

Requirements;

- QTS with specialism in PE (subject specialism is desirabele)

- Confident teaching KS3 and KS4 in lots of different sporting activities

- Good student and behaviour management, with strong expectations and able to navigate sanctions per the school's behaviour policy

- Can get good engagement from all students and offer an inclusive environment so all students can access and enjoy PE

- Reliable and able to keep to commitments, this will ensure that you get regular requests from a variety of schools depending on the amount of work you are wanting to take on

- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to apply for one
