We are seeking a qualified PE Teacher to join a dynamic school in Bristol. This part-time role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual passionate about fostering a love for physical education among students. The position begins at the February half term and continues until the end of the academic year.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that develop students' physical skills and enhance their understanding of health and fitness.
- Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to encourage positive development and achievement.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other curricular activities.
- Organise and coordinate sports events and activities, promoting participation and sportsmanship among students.
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience as a PE Teacher or similar role.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for physical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities to participate in physical activities.
