PE teacer required for either full time or part time work
Zen Educate are looking for a PE teacher to take on either part time or full time work for a secondary school in south Bristol. The school often have absences within the PE department so we are looking for a teacher that can offer regular cover for the school in the subject but also have the flexibility to dip into other subjects as and when needed.
Working hours are 8:30-3:30 between Monday to Friday and term time only.
We are happy to either have a PE specialist or a teacher that has worked within the subject enough that they feel confident to do it on a more regular basis. The school which is part of a wider academy trust has made some great changes over the last year and how has a positive, respectful and open learning environment, so the school is certainly a great place to get involved with.
What are we looking for?
- UK QTS in either a PE specialism, or confident in teaching the subject
- Able to work at least 3 days a week for the school and happy with dipping into other lessons as and if needed
- Reliable and able to honour commitments
- Good classroom management and able to keep students engaged with their learning/activities.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or happy to obtain one as part of the application process.
