Science teacher required for full time and fixed term contract.

Zen Educate are currently recruiting for a science teacher to take on a some full time work at a secondary school in Bristol. Whilst this post is a fixed term contract till July, there is a possiblity of it being potentially a permanent post down the line. This particular school based in BS7 is part of a wider network of schools and not far from the Filton area.

Marking and planning are expected and whilst this post is to teach all the sciences, we would happily consider any teacher focused on one particular science discipline that is happy and confident enough to teach the other areas of the subject more generally.

Requirements;

- UK QTS with a specialism in the sciences

- Strong classroom management and able to keep students focused and on task with learning objectives

- Confidence indifferentiationof learning and able to pitch lessons to various learning abilities so all students can access the lesson

- Develop fun, engaging and thought provoking lessons that challenge and offer opportunity for students to wonder and learn about the sciences

- Good use of support staffing where applicable.

- Record student progress and communicate with department lead, parents and any other member of SLT.

- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
