Looking for a SCIENCE TEACHER job?
Dovetail&Slate are working with a secondary school who are looking for a passionate science teacher to join their fantastic school. This is an exciting opportunity to teach science to up to GCSE level in a way that sparks curiosity and engagement, that's in a positive learning environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Committed to building and sustaining relationships with a diverse group of students
- Committed to the highest achievement for all students
- Keen to share and learn best practises as part of a vibrant team, and contribute to curriculum development, resources and development
- Monitor and support the development of all students
- Establish a positive learning environment which supports students to achieve their full academic potential
Should demonstrate good knowledge of:
- The teaching subject
- Principles and practises of effective teaching and learning
- Principles and pracise of monitoring, assessment and evaluation
- Preparation and development of schemes of work and resources to enhance the curriculum
What you'll need:
- A full right to work in the UK
- A good understanding of the KS3 and GCSE science curriculum
- A passion for teaching science that will engage students
- A teaching qualification - ideally a PGCE or QTS
