We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Maths for a full-time, temporary position at a sixth form college in Bristol. This role involves teaching A-Level and GCSE Maths.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to A-Level and GCSE students.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that meet curriculum goals.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate work.
- Must hold a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at A-Level and GCSE levels.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate students and manage differing ability levels.
