Here at Long-Term Teachers we work closely with a large educational Trust in the North Somerset and Weston area who have a high need for Supply HLTAs on a day to day basis.

You will have the opportunity to work across all Primary Schools in the Trust in the area, supporting interventions and whole class teaching.

This is a great opportunity as you have the chance to work across a number of Primary schools who work hard to bring a caring and creative learning environment for their pupils but also take pride in providing their staff with an opportunity to grow and develop themselves as professionals.

The Role

We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are happy to work throughout EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 classrooms as a Teaching Assistant but also to cover any Class Teacher who is absent. Whether you are looking for a role to work around your life or a role where you can build your experience in a school setting, please reach out.

You will be expected to:

  • Follow the school's ethos and values.

  • Be flexible when working with children in a group and 1:1 basis.

  • Have good knowledge of the educational curriculum.

  • Be flexible, creative and adaptable.

  • Provide engaging lessons through following pre-planned lessons

  • Have high expectations of pupils through motivation, encouragement and confidence.
