A school in the BS34 area of South Gloucestershire is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their school from January.
This school is dedicated to fostering enthusiasm among both young people and staff, encouraging them to pursue opportunities and aspirations, while promoting respect within the school community and towards others through behavior and communication.
The Role
Long-Term Teachers are in search of a dedicated HLTA to join the school on a full-time basis.
To thrive in this role, you must have a great understanding of the Primary Curriculum, so you feel confident adapting pre-planned lessons to support any misconceptions.
You will also be working collaboratively with Class Teachers to deliver whole class lessons, but to also work closely with small groups of children to deliver interventions to challenge their learning and understanding.
You will be expected to:

Deliver pre-planned lessons.

Support Class Teachers with pupils development and assessment.

Deliver small group and 1 to 1 interventions

Have strong behaviour management
