About the School - SENCO - Bristol, South Gloucestershire

• The school is housed in a purpose built, brand new, state of the art building.
• The school caters primarily for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs but also for children with autism who have moderate learning needs
• There are up to 50 children aged 8 to 16.
• The school aims to ensure that every pupil has an outstanding educational experience
• The school offers all staff lots of support to succeed.
• The school also offers in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals

About the Role - SENCO - Bristol, South Gloucestershire

• You'll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
• You'll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem
• You will need to be resilient and dedicated
• This school is looking for an experienced SENCO.
• The relevant qualifications are ideal but not essential.
• You must have recent experience as a SENCO in either a primary or secondary school or SEN school.
• There may be an opportunity for a TLR post passing probation which can be discussed at a later stage
• Full training will be offered
• You will receive full school holidays
