Juice Recruitment is excited to be supporting a security company in their search for an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) Operator to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional, high-security environment, monitoring and handling various alarm types, including Intruder, Personal Attack (PA), Fire, and CCTV.

About the Role:

The ARC Operator will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a telephone-based role, ensuring all alarms and incidents are managed efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, call centre-style environment and enjoys problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to various alarms, including high-priority/life-critical and non-life alarms.
  • Process incoming calls and liaise with customers, clients, and security companies.
  • Provide helpdesk support to clients and store staff.
  • Accurately update and report on client records and information.

About You:

  • Confident IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, email handling, and accurate data inputting into a system.
  • Strong telephone manner with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively.
  • A valid CCTV SIA licence is desirable; however, company-funded training is available for candidates willing to obtain the qualification.

What’s on Offer:

  • Shift Pattern: Continental 12-hour shifts (4 on, 4 off, nights). Hours: 19:00 - 07:00.
  • Training: Full training provided, with ongoing development opportunities.
  • Overtime: Available but not compulsory.
  • Requirements: Candidates must undergo a five-year employment reference check, a police (CRB) check, and a credit check.
  • Transport: A driver’s license is desirable due to location unless based in the Hengrove, Bishopsworth, or Whitchurch areas near to (BS14).
