Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Service Engineer to join our team in the North of England, covering the Bristol, Bath and Swindon areas. As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing CCTV, access control, and intruder systems.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot security system issues
- Carry out routine maintenance and perform repairs on security equipment
- Document all service calls, updates, and maintenance activities accurately
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and security system technology
- Provide technical support to clients and offer advice on security system operation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Security Service Engineer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full driving license for travel within the designated area
- Experience working with security system brands such as Honeywell, Galaxy, Milestone, Pelco, and C-Cure
Day-to-day
- Responding to service calls and addressing security system issues
- Documenting updates, maintenance activities, and service calls
- Collaborating with the technical support team to resolve complex issues
- Providing technical support and advice to clients
- Staying updated on industry standards and security system technology
