Our client, a leading security service provider, is looking for dedicated Security Officers to join their dynamic team. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £33,000 and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions matter.

Position Overview:

As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the site’s security and integrity. Your responsibilities will include patrolling, monitoring CCTV, and managing visitor access. While primarily based in Bristol, you may also need to provide occasional support at our Gloucester premises. Don’t worry—transport will be provided, or any travel costs will be reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control access to the site/building, permitting only authorised personnel.
• Use the Access Control System and CCTV to monitor/manage activity on site and in the immediate vicinity.
• Conduct internal and external patrols of the site and building.
• Perform daily checks of alarm systems and monitor system health.
• Respond to on-site alarm systems and escalate issues to the MDL Service Desk as necessary.
• Provide cover for other members of the security team as required.
• Conduct random entry and exit searches.
• Deter and detect unauthorised entry, as well as any damage/vandalism.
• Handle suspect packages according to agreed procedures when necessary.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by line management.
• Remain flexible and adaptive to provide cover/support for absent colleagues.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in the security field is beneficial but not essential.
• Valid SIA License and CCTV training is required.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• IT literacy to navigate security systems effectively.
