Pertemps Bristol is recruiting Sewing Operatives in the Yate area, offering a full-time position of 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday.
The working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00, with a pay rate of £11.94 per hour.
Duties include using sewing machines to sew or decorate clothing, maintaining machines, and measuring finished products for accuracy.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience sewing garments on industrial sewing machines and possess strong knowledge of hand sewing techniques.
Applicants should also be able to read patterns and instruction sheets and have experience maintaining industrial sewing machines.

All specialist clothing will be provided

As a Sewing Operative your duties will include:

Use sewing machines to sew or decorate clothing and other products.
keep machines stocked with thread, position material under needles, and guide their stitching to sew parts together.
When a product is finished, measure each item to ensure accuracy.

The successful Sewing Operative will hold the following skills and experience:

Minimum 1 years' experience sewing garments on industrial sewing machines.
Ability to alter garments for different specifications.
Strong knowledge of hand sewing techniques.
Ability to read patterns and instruction sheets.
Experience maintaining industrial sewing machines
