One of the top schools in Bristol, supporting students with SEN, is looking for a caring, personable individual to work as an Autism Support Assistant. This school caters to children aged 5 to 16 with complex Autism and Learning Disabilities. The school follows a therapeutic approach, where children engage in activities beyond traditional lessons, and they are seeking someone passionate about supporting vulnerable members of the community.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, and experience working with children or adults with Special Needs would be beneficial. You will have the chance to work alongside therapists and psychologists on-site, gaining invaluable experience in the field of Special Needs and Mental Health. This role is ideal for aspiring educational or occupational psychologists, therapeutic support workers, or SEN teachers.
