Rocasa Consulting are currently on the look out for an experienced Mental Health Support Worker who would be interested in joining a team which supports working age females with complex mental health and trauma. This role is based in Fishponds, Bristol (BS16).

This is a full-time role, working hours are 10am - 6pm, 5 days a week with one sleep in shift per week. On the day of the sleep-in you will start later and finish earlier the following day.

We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate and confident candidates who are looking to join an excellent team!

Duties include:

- Supporting a cluster of females with complex trauma and mental health support needs, living in supported accommodation.

- Prompting medication and daily living tasks.

- Assisting with budgeting and finances

- Active listening

- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are always followed.

- Write and action support plans.

- Attend meetings on behalf of clients, if necessary acting as an advocate.

- Assist other team member whenever necessary.

About you:

- Good knowledge of mental health diagnoses

- Good knowledge of The Mental Health Act

- Experience working with vulnerable individuals (including those with mental health support needs)

- Experience in the housing sector

- Good knowledge of the benefit and welfare system

- Good communication

- Reliable and confident
