Mental Health Assistant - Bristol - ASAP Start

A welcoming school in Bristol is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Assistant to join their team ASAP. This role is ideal for a Psychology Graduate or someone with experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, and SEN. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the development and wellbeing of students, working closely with a skilled and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
- Assisting children in understanding and following teacher instructions.
- Working 1:1 with individual learners in the classroom or in small groups within the Learning Support department.
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students with diverse needs, requiring a patient and resilient individual. You will work closely with pupils who benefit from additional guidance, including those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, as well as complex learning profiles.

- Pay: £85-£95 per day (DOE)
- Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
