SEND Teaching Assistant

Bristol 

£417 - £487 per week

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEND Support Assistant to work in a local primary school in Bristol on a full-time basis starting as soon as possible.

About the role

The successful Support Assistant will be able to build a positive relationship with an individual and provide specialist support in a classroom setting to cater for the special educational needs and disabilities of the child. This is a highly rewarding career that requires a flexible approach, creativity and excellent communication in order to engage the pupil with their learning. The ideal Support Assistant will be patient, enthusiastic, resilient and motivated to promote the child’s progress.

About the school

School hours are 08:30am - 15:30pm, term-time only.

Salary

£417 - £487 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • to have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
