Role Description
Join Our Team as a Senior Support Worker
Location:Henbury, Bristol
Salary:£13.53 per hour (£26,383.50 pro-rata) plus benefits. Additional £50 per sleep-in shift.
Hours:37.5 hours per week, between 7.00am and 10.00pm, Monday to Sunday.You will also be on the on-call rota.
Contract:Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential for this role.

About You
We are on the lookout for Senior Support Worker who is calm, patient, and resilient.You will need tohave a consistent approach to assisting the people we support to engage in the interests they love.
Furthermore, asSeniorSupport Workeryou will:
  • You will be a strong team player with the ability to lead by example, beingprofessional, patient and calm under pressurewith experience of providing extraordinary support.
  • You will supervise daily outputs and assist the deputy manager in managing staff performance, development, and appraisals.
  • You will havea QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.
  • You will takepersonal responsibility for the quality of care and support delivered to the people we support.
  • You will help plan and achieve both short- and long-term goal.
  • You will plan and be in favour of activities, such as vacations, learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities.
  • You will ensure the people you support and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, equity, and equality.
  • Work in accordance with SeeAbilitys values
We are looking for the people with the right attitude, who has an open mind, forward-thinking and a sense of humour. You will be available to work 37.5 hours a week, and every other weekend. This will be on a shift rota basis. Over-time shifts will be available.

At Bristol Support Service we support 9 adults witha range of disabilities including visual impairment, autism, and learning disabilities.

People atour home are a very active group who spend a lot of time getting out and about and engaging with the local community. We love going out to discos, pubs,shopping and visiting family.We do have a passion for art and music. Therefore, we often visit local theatre, crafts, also music concerts and choirs.
