Learning Support Assistant - Teaching Assistant - Secondary - Trauma Informed - Bristol
The School:
The school is based in Bristol and provides support for secondary aged pupils who have a wide range of moderate learning and behavioural needs. All students that attend the school have a designated Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) which details their specific needs in terms of the care and support they will have access to.
This is a 'trauma informed' school that provides a unique, specialist environment that closely fits the needs and challenges that the students face. Most of the students will go on to achieve GCSE qualifications or the equivalent, so at this stage of their education, it is vitally important that they establish sound understanding of key subjects such as maths and English. Your job will be to support this journey to help them access further education or training.
The school is graded as 'good' by Ofsted with pupil progress and achievement 'outstanding' across the school. You will be joining a school environment that is made up of happy students and staff.
