- Field based role within a team of 3, and a Team Leader, working with a caseload of up to 20 customers
- Work closely with the accommodation services to prevent people from becoming homeless again
- Housing support around managing a tenancy, working with benefits, bills, exploring options around education, training and employment, budgeting, and engaging with other professionals
- Checking needs and risks are assessed appropriately to ensure the service is suitable for the prospective customers
- Helping to keep the system caseload management system updated regularly
- Completing Risk and Needs Assessments and Support Plans
- Preparation of quarterly reports for the commissioners
- A drive to find solutions in supporting people with a range of backgrounds
- An understanding of people’s needs and interests, allowing appropriate actions plans to be made
- A passion for providing immediate care and support for people with safeguarding and emotional and mental health issues
- Having a resilient and flexible nature when dealing with others
- Being able to work under pressure while producing support plans and meeting deadlines
- Happy to work alone or in a team environment.
- A positive, creative approach, with a can-do attitude whilst maintaining professional boundaries
- To hold a valid driving licence
