Support Worker - Supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities
Location: Bristol
Hourly Rate: 12.50 + Sleep-ins (60 per night)

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide exceptional care for an adult with learning disabilities in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by offering support with daily activities, social engagement, and behaviour management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to an individual with learning disabilities, focusing on their personal preferences and needs.
  • Assist with daily activities, including music, drawing, and other hobbies that the individual enjoys.
  • Support the individual with managing behaviour in a calm and positive manner.
  • Help with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care when required.
  • Be a positive role model and promote independence, social inclusion, and confidence.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the individual at all times.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential.
  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach to support.
