Support WorkerLocation:BristolSalary:£25,359 per annumContract:Temp orPermanentHours:37 hours per weekWe are working with a leading mental health charity in the South West offering housing, support, and hope to thousands of people with mental health and other support needs.The RoleThe aim of a Support Worker is to deliver person-centred support to clients who are on a journey to recovery and who live in our Supported Housing service. Working in a psychologically, adversity, and trauma-informed way, this includes:

  • Holding a caseload of clients who you meet 1:1 at least weekly
  • Developing and facilitating groups and activities for clients
  • Developing support plans and working creatively with clients to support them to meet their goals
  • Maintaining detailed case notes
  • Helping clients to develop skills to move towards independent living
  • Helping clients to maximise their income
  • Championing hope and courage
  • Responding to incidents and ensuring diligent reporting
  • Promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients
