Hours:40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday and Tuesday 8am to 6pm, Thursday 10am to 8pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm (This rota will be the same every week)

Situated close to the city centre, our client make a difference to the lives of the vulnerable adults by providing a homely supported living and learning environment for young adults aged 19+ with severe and complex learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

Seeking a Support Worker to assist in the care of 8 adults, this opportunityis a genuinely fulfilling and rewarding career choice.

What is a Support Worker?
  • You will be working 1:1 with a resident on each shift.
  • You will have the freedom to plan their day in line with their choices and wishes, enabling them to be as independent as possible, seeing them thrive and enjoying making memories.
  • You will be providing personal care to residents as well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips and fun social occasions.
We are looking for pro-active individuals who can demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to supporting our young people. You do not need to have experience in the care sector, we can support and train you on your journey.
