Location: Bristol
Hourly Rate: 12.50 + Sleep-ins (60 per night)
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide exceptional care for an adult with learning disabilities in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by offering support with daily activities, social engagement, and behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred support to an individual with learning disabilities, focusing on their personal preferences and needs.
- Assist with daily activities, including music, drawing, and other hobbies that the individual enjoys.
- Support the individual with managing behaviour in a calm and positive manner.
- Help with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care when required.
- Be a positive role model and promote independence, social inclusion, and confidence.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the individual at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins when required.
- A passion for making a positive impact in someone's life.
