The position is for a Waking Night Support Worker based in Bristol, requiring 37.5 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off schedule from 7pm to 6am.
The salary for this temporary role is £25,034 for a duration of 8 weeks, starting on 04/11/24.
Key responsibilities include supporting young people, conducting welfare and building checks, and ensuring their safety alongside a concierge worker.
Candidates should have proven experience in supported housing management and possess excellent communication and IT skills.
An enhanced DBS check is also required for this position.

Waking Night Support Worker LOCATION: Bristol HOURS: 37.5 – 4 on 4 off (7pm – 6am)SALARY: £25,034DURATION: temp 8 weeksSTART DATE: 04/11/24 Executive Summary:Based at a busy young person’s service, you would be working within an emergency accommodation project for young care leavers.Key Responsibilities:

Be on hand to support young people and carry out welfare checks
Alongside a concierge worker, support the safety of the young people
Carry out building checks
Create a detailed handover for day staff
Monitor who accessing the building and keep a log on the visitors’ book
Be on hand to support in a crisis and make the relevant calls to the on-call manager if required
