Resolve Care Services are proud to be working with a well-known Care Home based in Thornbury, Bristol
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated experienced Carer to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those requiring care and support.
The Role:
- - Provide personal care and companionship to individuals in need of assistance
- - Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting
- - Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- - Support individuals with dementia care needs
- - Engage in behaviour management techniques when necessary
- - Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organised living environment
- - Accompany individuals to appointments or outings as required
The Candidate:
- Experience as a carer or senior care or caregiving roles is essential
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is desirable
- Ability to provide patient-centred care with empathy and understanding of a care setting.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals receiving care
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary
- Ability to reliably commute to Thornbury
The Package:
- £12.10ph + holiday pay
- 36 hours per week on a flexible rota
- PART TIME HOURS CONSIDERED (18 or 24 hours)
